The Jewel Garden Presents… Musique Concrèmo, in the Concrèmo Series!

Musique Concrèmo is a new wave of musique concrète where the artist or sound designer has a strong emotional connection to the space or context of what’s being documented. Started by Brad Rose and Ryan Watts, it’s rooted largely in field recordings (with a smidge of music that can be added if you want). If you have a smart phone in your pocket, you already have everything you need (essentially). 

Musique Concrèmo bucks the trends of GAS (gear addiction syndrome) and can be made on the slimmest of budgets or financial status – in fact, minimalism forces creativity, and as such offers great rewards! Long-form sonic journeys are the target, but shorter-form compositions are also welcome! 

Musique Concrèmo is open to all people, all walks of life, all ages, all backgrounds – it’s to be simply one of the most inclusive projects and styles around – be who you are, love what you love, and document it in a sound recording!
